What's New: An all-new chrome extension, customizable team pages, and goal improvements

Posted by Luke Thomas

A few weeks ago we shared a slate of product improvements we've made to Friday, including custom branding, an all-new handbook, and more. Today, I'm excited to share more improvements and updates! Let's jump right in.

1. A brand-new Chrome extension

The Friday chrome extension is one of our most popular features, and it was time to give it a fresh coat of paint.

Now, you can see:

  • meetings
  • tasks
  • action items (like important announcements, prompts to check-in, or share a progress update on a goal)

In one view whenever you open a new tab.

It's a great way to stay on track and win the workday. In addition, you can now search across Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, and OneDrive files directly from the Chrome extension.

Finally, if you setup custom branding in Friday, we'll even display your business logo right in the extension for your entire company to see!

2. OneDrive integration

Next up, we launched a OneDrive integration. You can now find OneDrive files, directly from the Friday search experience!

3. Completely customizable team pages

Next up, we launched completely customizable, dynamic team pages.

You can now create a "homepage" for a particular team and use drag-and-drop widgets to showcase key resources, posts, and more! It's like a one-stop shop for learning more about a particular team inside your company.

4. Associate a team to a goal

The final improvement we've made is that it's now possible to associate a particular team to a goal. If you select a team goal type, you can now pick the team that is responsible for the goal.

It's the easiest way to connect the dots and know which team is working on what.

What's next?

Stay tuned, we have some more improvements dropping next week :)
